Erica Duignan Minnihan

Erica Duignan Minnihan is Founder and General Partner of Reign Ventures, a seed-stage firm investing in consumer technology and AI companies built to earn trust. She works at the intersection of capital, policy and responsible technology. Her conviction is that trust is a growth strategy, not a compliance cost. Reign leads or co-leads its seed rounds, takes board seats, and holds to one rule it has never broken: it does not invest in companies that do harm.

Erica chaired the SEC’s Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee from 2023 to 2025 and remains a member. She brings more than 25 years in venture and investment banking, including Citigroup, Credit Suisse and Cantor, and was Managing Director of DreamIt Ventures. She is a Kauffman Fellow and TEDx speaker, and holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from UCLA.
