Founded in 2014 by first-time mom Monica Royer, Monica + Andy was created from her heart to deliver the softest GOTS-certified organic essentials, to support new parents in a seamless shopping experience online and in Guideshops, and foster a community committed to making things better for your babies and making things better for our planet.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Monica Royer is the founder, CEO, and main mom behind-the-scenes at Monica + Andy, a digitally native vertical brand offering organic essentials for kids and babies. After her daughter was born in 2010, Royer, a first-time mom, looked everywhere for a cohesive collection of quality, organic baby clothes married with exceptional customer service. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she decided to create it and spent the next few years developing her business plan as a stay-at-home mom. Royer built a board of advisors and created designs during nap times and in the evenings; meanwhile, her days were spent at mommy and me classes, time that helped her shape the DNA of the brand and understand critical holes in the baby market.

Monica + Andy wasn’t born in a boardroom.
It was born in a delivery room to a mom, who in that moment, wanted nothing more than to know with absolute confidence that what touched her daughter’s newborn skin would be the softest, most trustworthy fabric available.
A mom who, when she couldn’t easily find those products, vowed to make them herself.
So, Monica Royer, a mom with a plan and a baby on her hip, showed up in the boardroom (and at the design table, manufacturer, production line and shipping center) and mothered her idea to life.
